What do I need to wear?

Comfortable clothing suitable for being outside and the weather on the day. The paths are gravel and paving.

How long does it take?

Depending on the event, a lesson is approx. 1 hour to 1 and half hours. A group event is approx. 2and half hours to 3 hours.

What if it rains?

If the weather forecast is not great please wear appropriate clothing or bring it with you incase. There is shelter available for spectating and from adverse weather! If you are susceptible to the cold.

What about recoil / will it hurt my shoulder

Our qualified instructors will endeavour to teach everyone correctly and you should feel no recoil from the gun.

What do I need to bring?

Please wear appropriate clothing for being outdoors.

How much is the deposit?

£20pp for most bookings, £60pp for a simulated day. All monies to be paid by card over the phone or bank transfer.

When is the balance paid?

The balance is paid on the day and can be paid by card or cash.

How do I get there?

For all Google Maps and satnavs please use the post code GL17 0QD.

DO NOT use the farm name as this will NOT take you to the correct location. The entrance to Chessgrove shoot is located on the A4136 road between Mitcheldean and Longhope.

For all directions please use GL17 0D, this will keep you on the main A4136 and we are situated between Richard Read’s lorry depot and Harts Barn Craft Centre. If you end up within the village of Longhope please redirect your sat nav and head back to the main road. We are NOT in the village of Longhope.
